Review from AmazonThis works. Sound quaility BT transfer is good. Ease of hookup to older RCA unit is great. Its compact and range is mid tier and quality is good.

Review from AmazonI got this to add bluetooth to my old receiver in my living room so I can easily listen to music from my phone while cleaning or working on projects around the house. Install and setup was easy; I used my own high quality RCA cables to connect it to the receiver. It's very small and lightweight, so some foam mounting tape was used to stick it to the side of the receiver.
In terms of sound quality, it's fine. It doesn't have LDAC compatibility, but for the price, that's not a big deal. It still sounds decent. One thing I don't like, is that it auto connects when powered on. I like to keep bluetooth on my phone turned on so I can connect to the various devices I use in my house. To get around this, I use a tapo smart plug that the USB power brick (also my own; there's not one included) is plugged into. That way I can just turn the plug on or off with my phone or voice, so it only connects when I want it to.
Overall, for the price, it does what it was designed to.
Review from AmazonWorks very well to receive Bluetooth signals from a phone or mp3 player and feed them to a stereo, etc. This updates your older stereo amplifier or receiver that doesn't have Bluetooth built in. The sound is great. No issues at all with that. Paring worked well the first time. Then it dropped it and I had to repair my mp3 player. So far its held the connection over a few days of use.
The unit is very compact and installation is simple. Just feed the output of the box to your stereo and enjoy wireless sound from your device.
Note that this is a receiver only. You cannot use it to send signals to a pair of headphones, etc.
Review from AmazonThis bluetooth reciever is perfect for adding bluetooth capability to an older system that did have bluetooth. It was simple to hook up and the sound quality is as expected. Two things to note. It does not come with a power brick, but comes with the USBc wire. It also did not come with the RCA cables. So you will need those to get it working. There is no volume control as it is controlled through the av receiver. The quality is as expected for the cost.
Review from AmazonI received this blafili R1 Bluetooth Receiver for Home Stereo with RCA Line Out & USB Input | No-beep pairing. Last week.
This device will auto connect to a PC or cell phone via Bluetooth. Connect a USB c power cable ( supplied) to the unit. Connect the other end to any old cell phone wall wort with a USB A input for power and you're good to go.
Then press the MFB button. The device will begin to connect and flash blue and red. After connection is established the LED will flash blue every few seconds.
The unit has two RCA outputs that plug into the subwoofer and/or speakers.it sounds good!
Review from AmazonI picked up the blafili R1 Bluetooth Receiver specifically because it supports aptX HD. If you're tired of the compressed sound quality that comes with standard SBC Bluetooth codecs, this is a massive and immediate upgrade. Bringing aptX Adaptive and HD support to my older home stereo setup has been a game-changer—the detail, clarity, and overall dynamic range are genuinely impressive for an inexpensive bluetooth receiver, especially when streaming higher-bitrate audio.
Beyond the sound quality, the unit itself is well-thought-out for a workshop or home audio space. I love the "always-on" USB design—no batteries to charge and no annoying auto-sleep functions to deal with. The silent pairing is another highlight; it connects instantly without those jarring "beep" prompts that ruin the experience on cheaper adapters. It’s compact, reliable, and does what it promises without unnecessary fluff. If you want to modernize vintage audio gear without sacrificing sound quality, this receiver is a no-brainer.
Review from AmazonIf you’ve got a classic home stereo or powered speakers that sound great but need a modern Bluetooth lifeline, the blafili R1 is a surprisingly polished little receiver. It’s compact, clean-looking, and does exactly what it promises without adding any annoying quirks.
It connects silently — no ear‑shattering tones, no “Bluetooth mode!” voice prompts. Just smooth, quiet pairing. Audio quality is crisp and stable. Great for streaming playlists, podcasts, or background music without compression mush. Plug it into any USB port and it stays powered 24/7. Perfect for receivers or amps that don’t have auto-on triggers. Works with older stereos, bookshelf speakers, garage setups, or even powered studio monitors. Very flexible for its size. No random dropouts or reconnect loops. Once it’s paired, it stays paired.
This isn’t for calls, voice assistants, or gaming chat. Pure audio input only. Everything is done from your phone/tablet. Simple, but worth noting. Depending on your setup, you might need a longer cable or a nearby USB port.
I used it on a traditional stereo amp and a pair of powered speakers — both worked flawlessly. It’s especially handy for older gear that sounds great but lacks modern connectivity. The silent pairing alone makes it feel more premium than most budget receivers.
The blafili R1 is a clean, reliable, no-nonsense Bluetooth upgrade for home audio setups. Great sound, stable connection, and blessedly silent operation. If you want Bluetooth without the usual cheap-device annoyances, this one delivers.
I own another Bluetooth receiver by this company and neither disappoints. Easy setup as there is nothing to it. I did have to cycle the Bluetooth on my phone off and on to recognize the new device but after that it was seconds to setup. Hold down the button to turn on. Long press to reset Bluetooth connections. Quick double press to enter pairing mode. There’s really nothing to it. Turn up the volume on your phone so that it registers on your tuner or audio device. Easy peasy! This is a definite recommend for anyone that has a tuner with RCA connections. Allows older audio equipment with no Bluetooth capabilities to connect to Bluetooth. It is small and compact and takes up very little space. The quality of the sound is good and unless you’re an audiophile who critiques every aspect of audio quality, you won’t notice a difference. Give it a try!
